With a sturdy polyester/steel build and 3 fully customisable straps, the UCi Traega HT3B Fall Arrest 3-Point Harness with Belt is designed to make working at height as safe and comfortable as possible. The harness has 3 points of attachment, the rear dorsal, waist and chest, distributing the wearer's weight as evenly as possible. As part of a fall arrest system, it allows maximum manoeuvrability and helps to prevent dangerous falls.

What Is the Traega HT3B Harness Plus For?

The Traega HT3B Harness is designed to be used as part of a fall arrest system. It has three attachment points, providing comfort and higher manoeuvrability, which makes it suited to working at height.

What Is Fall Arrest?

Fall arrest systems attempt to prevent the risk of falling completely, by arresting the fall in a safe and steady manner. Careful consideration is set up to work this systems, as adequate distance between the users fall height and the floor needs to be considered. Furthermore, a rescue plan is required as in the event of a fall, suspension over a prolonged period is dangerous.

How Comfortable is the Traega 3 Point Harness?

Due to its 3-point design, the harness distributes the weight of the user as evenly as possible, meaning that no one part of the body feels too much strain. The chest, waist and leg straps of the harness are all fully adjustable for customised comfort and greater ease of movement. 

How Safe is the HT3B Fall Arrest 3 Point Harness?

Traega are experts at making high-quality, safe and reliable PPE equipment. As such, the harness is fully compliant to the following standard:

• EN 361: Full body harness - This standard states that the harness has passed the free fall test where 100kg is dropped in the harness.
• EN 358: Work positioning - Confirms that the work positioning belt and lanyard have withstood a static force test for more than three minutes. 

How Do I Put on the Traega 3 Point Harness?

The harness includes detailed User Instructions that we recommend reading before putting it on. But below is a quick, easy guide on how to wear the HT3B:

1. Hold the back dorsal ring of the harness and shake to untangle the straps. Nothing should be bucked or twisted.
2. Slip one shoulder strap over one shoulder and pull the other strap around your back and over the other shoulder (like putting on a jacket).
3. Pull one leg strap between legs and connect to to opposite end on same side. Repeat with other leg. 
4. Fasten chest strap snugly above nipple line. Secure excess strap through web keepers. 
5. Adjust shoulder straps with two adjusters. They should be the same length. 
6. After all straps have been tightened and harness fits properly, secure all excess straps through the web keepers. 

Store and Move Easily With the Drawstring Bag

Included with the harness is a convenient and functionally-designed drawstring bag. It makes the harness easy to store and move to wherever your work takes you.

The reason for this is to ensure that all products that are dispatched provide protection to the level that is stated – we cannot attest to a returned product's safety of use as we do not know how it is handled or stored.
