You'd be hard pressed to find a workplace that did not contain a range of domestic and industrial level chemicals, but if your job plays a primary role in handling these chemicals, it's imperative that you protect your hands against corrosive injuries. Constructed from a blend of neoprene and latex, the Ejendals Tegera 2301 Chemical Resistant Latex Gloves will repel a broad range of chemicals with a permeation time of at least 30 minutes, while their diamond palms ensure an excellent grip at all times.

  • Glove Code: 2301

What Risks Are the Ejendals Tegera 2301 Ideal for Protecting Against?

The Ejendals Tegera 2301 are an updated model of the Ejendals Tegera 230. As such their blend of latex and neoprene materials will continue to provide moderate protection against corrosive injuries sustained through contact with chemicals, while their diamond embossed grip will provide excellent handling during contact with moisture and damp materials.

What Can the Ejendals Tegera 2301 Protect Me From?

The Ejendals Tegera 2301 Gloves have been tested to EN standards EN 388 and EN 374-1 to achieve the following results:

EN 388 (Mechanical resistance)

  • EN 388: 2110X
Hazard Level of Resistance
Abrasion Resistance Level 2
Cut Resistance Level 1
Tear Resistance Level 1
Puncture Resistance Level 0
ISO Blade Cut N/A

EN 374-1 (Chemical Resistance)

Sulphuric Acid 96% L
Nitric Acid 65% M
Acetic Acid 99% N
Hydrogen Peroxide 30% P
Hydrofluoric Acid 60% S

What Does This Mean?

According to their EN 374-1 tests, the Tegera 2301 will provide Type A protection against a wide range of domestic and industrial chemicals - this means they will resist chemical permeation for up to at least 30 minutes.
