How Easy Are 6310 Cleats to Attach?
6310 Cleats are quick and attach to attach and take off. Simply loosen the tensioner at the top of the cleat before gently placing your foot inside. The five rubber arms hug your boot, allowing you to tighten the fit using the tensioner as required. When correctly fitted, the cleats fit as demonstrated in the image below:
How Do They Work?
Ergodyne 6310 Cleats use 10 rugged, heat treated carbon steel studs located at the base of the cleat to grip and dig into underfoot ice and snow. These studs are found at the front and back of the cleat to provide stability and balance.
This also helps to promote even weight distribution throughout the foot whilst walking, reducing the chance for developing discomfort and pain.
How Flexible Are These Cleats?
Naturally, it's important for an over-cleat to be flexible. The tensioner at the top of the cleat allows for tightening and loosening depending on your preference. The cleat itself is a rubber construction for maximum pliability and flex.
As the cord is tightened, the rubber will pull up toward the centre of the cleat, creating a tighter fit that remains responsive to the natural movement of your feet.
What Are These Cleats Made From?
The studs located at the base of the cleat are made from heat treated carbon. The connective material is a flexible rubber and the tensioner that loops over the top of the shoe is made from adjustable cord.
Will These Cleats Last?
Ergodyne chose to manufacture these cleats from rubber because of its flexibility and tenacity when used in cold temperature environments. 6310 Cleats are built to last and to be used each and every winter.
The cord located at the top of the cleat has a tensioner designed to seamlessly tighten and loosen the cleat from a single position, ensuring that the cord and rubber aren't damaged elsewhere.
What Temperatures Can 6310 Cleats Be Used In?
These cleats have been successfully tested in temperatures as low as -40°C. The connective material is rubber which will not break or become rigid in cold temperatures.
