The JSP 5 Metre Guided Fall Type Arrester on Flexible Anchor Line allows for an impressive 5 metre range of motion, while maintaining protection in case of a fall. The arrester features a high-strength, openable rope grab for maximum durability and functionality.

  • 1 x Guided fall type arrester on flexible anchor line
  • 1 x Attachment lanyard (30cm) conforming to EN 354
  • 2 x Screw gate connectors in alloy steel, conforming to EN 362 (Class B and M)

Who Can Use the JSP Arrester?

The JSP arrester is ideal for wide range of motion while working at heights, whether that's horizontally over a rooftop, or vertically in a vertical lifeline system. The device is certified as deploying no more than a maximum arrest force of 6kN. Following is a list of professions and tasks for which the arrester is appropriate:

What Certifications Has the Guided Fall Type Arrester Received?

The arrester has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. The system has achieved the following certifications:

  • EN 353-2: 2002
  • EN 362: 2004
  • EN 354: 2010

What Do These Certifications Mean?

  • EN 353-2: This standard demonstrates that the travelling device of the system will grip the line and arrest the fall in case of an accident
  • EN 362: Indicates that the connector used is suitable for preventing falls from a height
  • EN 354: This standard specifies that a lanyard is a suitable for connecting a harness to an anchorage device, and that it is intended for use as a component of a larger system that ought to contain a shock absorbing element

The aluminium connectors are certified as suitable for use as part of a fall arrest system, and the high-strength rope grab is certified as gripping the anchorage line and arresting a fall. The attachment lanyard is certified as  suitable for connecting a harness to an anchorage device. the break strength of the system is 15kN.
