JSP Pioneer 3-Point Harness

The JSP Pioneer 3-Point Harness is ideal for aerial positioning in the workplace, the lateral d-rings and sit strap making it easy to get comfortable in the right place. The padded tool belt features tool keepers for easy access whilst performing a task.

What Can the 3-Point Harness Do for Me?

The harness has several useful features. These include:

• Fall Arrest: Dorsal attachment D-ring for fall arrest and sternal textile loops as anchor points for fall arrest
• Work Positioning: Lateral D-rings and sit strap for work positioning, padded work positioning belt with handy tool keepers
• Secure: Adjustable shoulders, chest and leg straps as well as additional sub-pelvic strap for comfortable and secure fit
• Functional: Plastic retainers to keep straps tidy, fall indicator for easy inspection and two colours for easy donning

Who Can Use the JSP Harness?

The harness will not prevent a fall, but in the case that one does occur it will help to arrest the fall and reduce chances of injury. The harness is also suitable for manoeuvring into an aerial position in order to accomplish a task. Following is a short list of settings and careers for which the harness is well suited:

• Scaffolding
• Pallet racking
• Tower crane erection
• Wind energy

What Certifications Has the Harness Received?

The harness has received several certifications so you can be sure of your safety at work, including the following:

• EN 361: 2002
• EN 358: 1999

What Do These Certifications Mean?

• EN 361: This standard specifies whether a harness holds the wearer in place and evenly distributes their weight
• EN 358: This standard indicates a belt or lanyard will safely arrest the fall of a wearer following a drop

The harness will hold any wearer of 140kg or below in place, evenly distributing their weight. The ergonomic belt of the lanyard will successfully arrest a fall if one does occur. The harness has a breaking strength of 23 kN (buckle and frame 15 kN.)
