The JSP Typhoon FPP2 Disposable Mask with Valve (Box of 10) has passed the dolomite anti-clogging test, which illustrates that it will resist clogging in very fine dust environments. The valve is fully shrouded to ensure optimum protection from harmful particles.

What Can the FFP2 Disposable Mask with Valve Do for Me?

The mask has several useful features. These include:

Who Can Use the Mask?

The Typhoon range of masks are suitable for use at the extremes of temperature, and in environments such as cold stores. Following is a short list of the hazards the mask protects against:

The mask has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. It has achieved the following certifications:

  • EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009

What Do These Certifications Mean?

  • EN 149: This standard certifies whether a respiratory device offers protection against potential hazards

The mask is certified as offering class 2 protection under EN 149, with an efficiency rate of 94% and an assigned performance factor of 10. The mask has passed the anti-clogging dolomite test, indicating that it should resist clogging in fine dust environments.

How Do I Use the JSP Mask?

The FFP2 face mask is easy to use, and you can get the mask on and off within seconds. To wear the mask correctly, please follow the below instructions as guidance:

  1. Hold the mask in the palm of your hand with the nose bar pointing upwards and the straps handing down
  2. Place the mask under your chin, covering your mouth and nose
  3. Take the upper elastic strap and pass it around the back of your head before taking the lower strap and pass it round the back of your head
  4. Mould the nose bar around the nose to seal it off completely
  5. Check the seal by breathing out hard and ensure that there are no air leaks around the side of the mask
  6. Dispose of the mask after a maximum of eight hours
