What Can the Structural Fire Firefighter Jacket Do for Me?
The jacket has numerous helpful features, including the following:
- Flame Resistant: Nomex/Lenzing FR viscose outer shell fabric protects against flame injury and burns caused by conductive heat
- Breathable: Middle shell acts as a moisture barrier, allowing internal moisture and heat to escape and protecting against the convective transfer of heat
- Heat Resistant: Inner thermal shell and lining offers protection against heat from proximity to skin, pockets of air between all three layers also help to insulate
- Functional: Radio pocket for handy radio access and sew on flame resistant industrial wash tape for increased visibility
- Easy Access: Quick release zip, hook-and-loop cuffs and throat tab on neck for quick and easy access
Who Can Use the Firefighter Jacket?
The firefighter coat has been designed specifically to combat structural fires, where the levels of radiant heat are far greater than outdoor fires.
