The Portwest jacket is highly visible, sufficiently so for motorway or dual carriageway work. The jacket has achieved the highest rating for waterproofing under EN 343, but is not classified as breathable by this standard. The coat is resistant to brief contact with small igniting flames and to light sprays of dangerous liquid chemicals.
