Portwest MV28 Modaflame Type 6 Arc Flash Coveralls

The Portwest MV28 Modaflame Type 6 Arc Flash Coveralls offer optimum protection from arc flashes as well as various other hazards, making them ideal for industrial environments. The jumpsuit is highly visible in low light conditions, with bio motion tape pattern to improve recognition of a human form even at a distance.

What Can the Modaflame Arc Flash Coveralls Do to Help Me?

The coveralls have several helpful features:

  • Arc Flash Protection: The enhanced design of the coveralls fulfils the rigorous requirements of Arc Flash protection certifications
  • High-Vis: The boiler suit qualifies as highly visible in low light conditions, and features bio motion tape pattern to improve recognition of human shape at a distance
  • Multi-Hazard: The coveralls also offer protection against welding hazards, chemical splashes, electrostatic discharge and radiant, convective and contact heat
  • Functional: The coveralls feature a radio loop for easy clipping of a radio, a two-way front durable brass zip for easy access, and two tier knee pad pockets for your comfort and the garment's durability

The protective overalls are made from the modacrylic Modaflame, meaning that the flame resistant and anti-static properties are inherent and will not diminish with washing.

Who Can Use the Portwest Modaflame Arc Flash Coveralls?

The Portwest jumpsuit is ideal for the oil and gas industries, as well as any other profession which requires top-quality protection from arc flashes. The bio-motion tape and high-vis certifications make the jumpsuit suitable for work in hazardous low-light conditions, and the chemical resistance means they can be safely worn to protect from reduced liquid spray.
