What EN Safety Standards Do These Nubuck Safety Boots Comply With?

The Apache AP314CM  Safety Boots comply with EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC HRO.

• EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 is a European standard that specifies the requirements for safety footwear: "S" stands for "safety" and indicates that the footwear provides basic toe protection. "3" refers to additional features including:

  • Fully closed heel with energy absorption
  • Antistatic properties
  • Resistance to fuel oil
  • Penetration resistance

To keep your feet protected from impact The Apache AP314cm Safety Hiker Boots feature a 200 joule steel toe cap and a penetration-resistant composite midsole. The partial use of metal in its design means a lighter safety boot for protection when compared to safety boots that are all metal.
