The JSP Powercap Active Respirator Replacement Bump Cap is designed for use with the JSP Powercap Active Powered Air Respirator with TH1P Filters and Impact Protection Visor and the JSP Powercap Active Powered Air Respirator with TH1P Filters. It is certified as offering protection from knocks from static objects as well as being extremely easy to detach from the respirator for washing purposes.

What Do These Certifications Mean?

• EN 812: This standard certifies that a helmet or cap will protect the wearer's head from static impacts

The cap will shield you from knocks from static objects. In order to meet the requirements of EN 812, a bump cap must transmit no more than 15kN of force when a 5kg mass is dropped from 25cm onto the dome.
