The Blackrock Black Cleanroom Safety Boots comply with EN ISO 20345:2011 S2 SRC.

• EN ISO 20345:2011 S2 is a European standard that specifies the requirements for safety footwear: "S" stands for "safety" and indicates that the footwear provides basic toe protection. "2" refers to additional features including:

  • Fully closed heel with energy absorption
  • Anti-static properties
  • Resistance to fuel oil
  • Penetration resistance
  • Water resistance

What Type of Work Environments Are These Hygiene Clogs For?

The Blackrock Hygiene Cleanroom Clogs are ideal for indoor cleanroom environments such as food preparation, medical and pharmaceutical where there is a risk of slipping on wet or dry tiled surfaces. Certified EN 20345 S2 SRC, the clogs can be relied for various types of protection, particularly from slipping.

Steel Toe Cap Safety Cleanroom Clogs

Adding to the safety and functionality of these cleanroom clogs, are steel toe caps which allow the footwear to withstand a pressure force of 200 joules. This means that a 20kg object falling from a height of 1 meter will not injure the feet when wearing these EN 20345 certified shoes. ​​

Machine Washable and Water-Resistant Microfibre

Keeping your feet dry when in contact with water and fluids is the microfibre upper material on these cleanroom clogs. This material can also be machine washed at 40°C ensuring hygiene is maintained in the environment.
