In the case of the ActivArmr Class 0 Gloves, the design helps to protect against life-threatening or irreversible injury caused by contact with lower-voltage electricity up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC.

Alternative Designs
Ansell also make a black variant of this Electrical Insulation Glove. The ActivArmr Class 0 Electrical Insulation Gloves (Black) are similar to the yellow model, with the exception that the yellow variant of these gloves has been constructed using an eco-conscious dipping process. The black variant of these gloves has been case-hardened to give them a tougher surface.
