Category III Risks
Category III risks are complex hazards which are severe or life-threatening, or those which can cause irreversible injury (including electric shocks).
The ActivArmr Class 2 Gloves are designed to protect against life-threatening or irreversible injuries caused by touch-voltage electric shocks from voltages up to 17,000V AC and 25,500V DC.
Please note: These gloves will not protect you from electric shock if they are damaged.
Alternative Designs
Ansell also make a black variant of this arc-flash resistant glove. The ActivArmr Class 2 Rubber Gloves (Black) are the same as the yellow variant except for the colour. Having two colours available makes it easier for users to organise and colour-code their electrical PPE.
