Fall@rrest CORE Full Body Rescue Harness

Mounting rescues for people working at height can be really difficult, as the same straps and anchors that keep them suspended in case of falls can also make them hard of reach. The Fall@rrest CORE Full Body Harness has the same advantages of a standard fall arrest harness, like multiple D rings and adjustable straps, but with the addition of an extended rescue strap. This extra strap is not used for fall rest and is instead there solely in case of emergencies, as it makes retrieving unconscious or injured workers safer and easier.

What Is the Fall Arrest Harness For?

The Fall Arrest FLEXI Harness is designed for use in a fall arrest system. When properly anchored, it will allow you to safety work from height. In the event of a fall, the fall arrest system will be able to take your weight. 

Fall Arrest

A Fall Arrest system will not stop you from falling. It is instead a system that ensures a fall is carried out in a safe and controlled manner. This enables a worker to carry out their job, while a body harness is connected to a suitable shock absorbing system.

This will not prevent free fall. You will still fall, however you will quickly be caught by a fall arrest block, rope, a lanyard and your harness. Training MUST be provided, and an escape plan MUST be in place before an accident takes place. Below are some situations where fall arrest could be helpful:

• Crane erection and maintenance

Sit Strap and Back Support for Comfort

Working at height can be tough on the body, especially on long days. The Fall Arrest CORE Harness features a back support and a built-in seat strap to help reduce fatigue.

Extended Rescue Strap for Emergencies

As well as the standard dorsal and chest D rings, this harness features an extra rescue strap for emergencies. It has an extended length to make rescues easier, and a D ring at the end for easy attachment.
