Tested to European Standards for Reliability

The Nora Noramax PU Boots have been tested to EN ISO 20347: O4 SRC CI. Please see the breakdown below for an explanation of what this means:

• EN ISO 20347: This is the standard for occupational footwear where you do NOT need protection against mechanical risks (such as impact or compressions)
• O4: Boots that have the O4 specification have the following features:
  • Slip-resistant sole
  • Closed heel area with an energy-absorbing heel
  • Antistatic
  • Made with rubber or polymer uppers
• SRC: There are two tests for slip-resistance: SRA (ceramic tiles wetted with a soap solution) and SRB (steel with glycerol). Footwear marked SRC pass both of these tests.
• CI: Offers protection against the cold

Do the Nora Noramax Boots Have a Protective Toecap?

While the Noramax Wellies are ideal for a wide range of occupational tasks, they do not have a safety toecap and should not be used in workplaces where safety footwear is required. Fortunately, we also offer a Safety Version of the Noramax Wellington Boots.
