Breathable Build

The Portwest chef wear range is designed to keep you cool in hot and busy kitchens. For this reason, their chef's jackets feature an aerated mesh in the underarms which improves airflow and encourages breathability to help the wearer stay cool. The fabric also wicks away moisture so that you can stay dry and maintain the optimum hygiene required of a chef.

Oil and Stain Resistant

The fabric is coated with Texpel finish, a splash, oil and stain resistant layer that repels liquids, causing them to bead up and roll off the white jacket without leaving a mark. This finish also leaves the jacket cleaner after every wash as stains wash out more easily so that you can use this chef wear shift after shift.

Long-Sleeved Version

This is the long-sleeved version of this jacket which provides more coverage for your arms, preventing any burns from hot oil and potential hygienic risks where arm hair could end up in someone's food. Not Your Colour?

This white chef jacket will visibly show any stains or unhygienic marks, allowing you to keep a clean workplace and produce hygienic food. However, in open kitchens that are exposed to customers a black jacket is often preferred. The black version of this jacket is available here.

Washing Instructions

• Wash at 60°C
• Do not bleach
• Tumble dry on low heat
• Iron at a medium heat (max 150°C)
• Suitable for dry cleaning (except Trichloroethylene)
