What Is the Portwest Kernmantle Restraint Lanyard For?

The Portwest Restraint Lanyard is suitable for use as part of a fall arrest system and work positioning system. When connected to a safety harness, this will allow you to safety work from height, as should you fall, the fall arrest system will be able to take your weight.

How Strong Is the Portwest Lanyard FP20?

The Portwest Lanyard is extremely strong, featuring abrasion resistant thimbles that are protected by loops. It is fully certified too, meaning that you can have faith in the product when working at height.

How Safe Is the Portwest Lanyard FP20?

The Portwest  Lanyard is fully certified to high EN standards, which ensures that the equipment you are using is fully safe. The Portwest Lanyard meets the following standards

  • EN 354: Lanyards - Indicates that the lanyard has withstood a free fall test without releasing the load or doing undue damage.
  • EN 358: Work positioning - Confirms that the work positioning belt and lanyard have withstood a static force test for more than three minutes.
