Electrostatic discharge occurs when two separately charged objects touch. These events can cause serious injury and can even be fatal. To protect against this, Ejendals Anti-Static Boots have compound heat tested the leather used in their boots. The results saw 427°C of short term heat (max operating limit) resistance and 204°C of longer-term heat exposure (constant operating limit).
