Thanks to D3O technology fully integrated into the tongue of the boot, the Heckel MACCROSSROAD 3.0 S3 Safety Boots provide enhanced metatarsal protection. D3O offers an ergonomic solution for guaranteeing safe metatarsal protection against impacts, while still ensuring high levels of flexibility and comfort. The metatarsal protection in the Heckel MACCROSSROAD 3.0 S3 is resistant to 100 joules of impact, which is equivalent to a weight of 20kg falling from a height of 50cm.

What is D3O Technology?

D3O Molecules are made from non-Newtonian fluid, transforming into a solid to absorb and dissipate energy. This protective component moulds to the shape of the foot and is extremely thin and lightweight, without restricting freedom of movement.

Additional Safety Features

Adding to their safety features, these safety boots feature an agile ankle guard and reinforced heel that supports the foot for better stability, particularly on uneven surfaces while retaining a high level of movement. Additionally, the boot also features an all-terrain sole profile disperses surface debris for better grip.
