The Honeywell 1011899 Work Positioning Kit includes a harness, positioning belt, lifeline, lanyard and carabiners, perfect for work positioning work. The kit is best suited to work positioning tasks where you are suspended above a height in order to complete your work. It has been designed for scaffolding, but can also be used for other similar tasks such as utilities.

What Is Work Positioning?

Work Positioning is a fall protection system whereby a worker is suspended in a work position in order to carry out a job. This is usually at height, and anyone who works at this height MUST have adequate training. These are usually used in conjunction with a fall arrest system.

How Safe Is the Honeywell Work Positioning Kit?

The Work Positioning Kit has been fully certified to all relevant work from height regulation. This is to ensure your safety while you are at work. Certification can be found below.

• EN 354: Lanyards - Indicates that the lanyard has withstood a free fall test without releasing the load or doing undue damage.
• EN 355: Energy Absorbers -  Fully certified to ensure that this product is suitable for use as an energy and shock absorber.
• EN 358: Work Positioning: - Fully certified to withstand weight in a work positioning system
• EN 361: Full body harness - This standard states that the harness has passed the free fall test where 100kg is dropped in the harness.
