What Can the FFP3 Tinted Filterspec with Valve Do for Me?
The Filterspec has several useful features. These include:

Who Can Use the Filterspec?
The Filterspec offers eye protection and respiratory protection and is well suited to multi-hazard environments. The glasses are of the highest optical class meaning that they can be worn for extended periods of time without issue, and the dark tint allows for clear vision in bright sunlight. Following is a short list of the hazardous particles from which the P3 mask will shield you:
- Hard wood dust and particles
- Paint particles containing arsenic, chrome, copper
- Absestos fibres
- Metal and aluminium oxide smoke
- Metal dust
- Bacteria, viruses and spores
What Certifications Has the Filterspec Received?
The Filterspec has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. It has achieved the following certifications:
- EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2001
- EN 166: 1, B, T, 3, 4, N
What Do These Certifications Mean?
- EN 149: This standard certifies whether a respiratory device offers protection against potential hazards
- EN 166: This standard specifies the requirements for protective eyewear
The Filterspec filters have a filtration efficiency of 99% of harmful particles and their assigned performance factor is 20 times the workplace exposure limit to fine dust and vapours, thereby qualifying them for the highest class under EN 149. The lenses of the goggles are also of the highest optical class, and offer protection against high speed low energy impacts.
How Do I Use the JSP Filterspec?

Some verbal instructions are included below;
- Pull the unfastened elastic strap over the head and locate on the neck
- Place the Filterspec onto the face, ensuring the nose and mouth is covered
- Pull the plastic clips around the rear of the head and attach together
- Tension the elastic straps by pulling on the free ends, through the plastic clips, until a secure seal is achieved
- To check the fit, place both hands completely over the mask and inhale
- Readjust the mask if air leaks at the edge
