JSP Jetstream Cobra Air-Fed Welding and Grinding Helmet

The JSP Jetstream Cobra Air-Fed Welding and Grinding Helmet features an auto-darkening lens which will protect your eyes from welding arc light damage. The Jetstream mask is certified as shielding your face and eyes while welding, and the grinding visor will protect your eyes from high speed impacts. 

What Can the Jetstream Mask Do for Me?

The mask has many helpful features, some of which follow here:

  • Auto-Darkening: The lens adjusts light transmittance depending on the light generated by welding
  • Eye and Face Welding Protection: Certified as offering eye and face protection from molten metal droplets and other welding related hazards
  • Adjustable: Elasticated seal and adjustable harness for an exact and comfortable fit
  • Grinding Visor: Visor offers protection against medium energy high speed particles, liquid droplets and molten metal

What Certifications Has the Mask Received?

The mask has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. It has achieved the following certifications:

  • EN 175
  • EN 379
  • EN 166

What Do These Certifications Mean?

  • EN 175: This standard specifies the requirements for eye and face protection for welding and related processes
  • EN 379: This standard stands for lenses with automatic welding filters that switch their luminous transmittance to a lower predetermined value when an arc is ignited
  • EN 166: This standard specifies the requirements for protective eyewear

The mask is certified as offering protection for the eyes and face from molten metal droplets, sparks and other welding related hazards. The lens will alter its light transmittance depending on the brightness of welding arcs, thereby protecting your eyes from light damage. The grinding visor will protect you from medium energy high speed particles travelling at 120m/s, liquid droplets and molten metal.
