What Is Work Positioning?
Work positioning systems are a form of fall protection whereby you are suspended in a position that allows you to complete your work. The system prevents you from falling by suspending you in the air, and the system will usually include a harness, a rope, a carabiner and a hook. It is the law that anyone who is using one of these systems, must be trained by a professional before use.

How Do I Fit the Portwest 2 Point Harness?
If you haven't had training in fall protection, then you need to receive the adequate training before you carry out this line of work. Instructions for the FP15 are as follows:
- Hold your harness up by the back dorsal D ring
- Place the harness over the shoulders in the same way you would wear a backpack
- Attach your chest and waist belt connections
- Reach underneath your legs, grab the leg straps, wrap them around each thigh and then attach to the connection points at the waist
- You should be able to place a flat hand between the strap and leg
- Tighten all straps to ensure a tight but comfortable fit
