The Portwest MX28 Modaflame Orange Type 6 Welding Jumpsuit offers protection from the hazards commonly associated with welding, such as intense heat and splashes of molten metal. The jumpsuit also offers protection from chemical splashes, electrostatic discharge and electric arcs, so you can feel secure in a multi-hazard work place. 

What Can the Modaflame Orange Type 6 Welding Jumpsuit Do to Help Me?

The jumpsuit has several helpful features:

  • Welding Protection: The jumpsuit has been certified as offering class 2 welding protection
  • Flame Resistant: The modacrylic fabric is inherently flame retardant and the fibres will naturally self-extinguish, the jumpsuit protects against radiant, convective and contact heat
  • Multi-Hazard: The jumpsuit also offers protection from chemical splashes, electrostatic discharge and electric arcs 
  • Functional: The overalls feature triple-stitched seams for durability, a two-way front zip for easy access, radio loop for clipping of a radio and knee pad pockets for your comfort

The coveralls are made from Modaflame, an inherently flame retardant fibre that does not combust and will offer protection without the need for a flame resistant chemical treatment during the textile process. The 39% cotton and 1% fibre add strength and provide protection from electrostatic discharge.
