Which Safety Standards Does the Portwest  PS61 Safety Helmet Meet?

The Portwest Safety Helmet has been tested extensively to ensure your safety. It meets the following safety standards:

• EN 397 (-10°C / +50°C)
  • This standard states that the helmet must be designed to protect the wearer from falling objects. This standard also confirms protection from sharp or pointed objects and flame resistance.
  • This particular helmet has met optional criteria for work in low and high temperatures.
• EN 50365 Class: 0
  • This standard is applicable to electrically insulating helmets used for working live or close to live parts on installations not exceeding 1000V AC or 1500V DC.

How Safe Is the Portwest PS61 Helmet?

The Portwest Safety Helmet provides excellent security and protection when working in challenging conditions thanks to its robust design and six-point suspension harness. For adequate protection, the PS61 Safety Helmet must properly fit or be adjusted to the wearers head. This can be achieved by adjusting the headband using the tightening device in the back of the helmet.
