With the Traega RLSC1.5 1.5m Restraint Lanyard with Connectors, working at height is more manoeuvrable and less dangerous. It stops the the user reaching a point where they could fall and allows movement around a fixed point. With its inbuilt carabiner and scaffold hook, all you need is a safety harness or belt to be able to able to work on scaffolding safely. It also features sturdy plastic eyelets to reduce wear between the lanyard and connectors in order to increase its lifespan.

How Do I Use the Traega Lanyard?

The lanyard includes detailed instructions that we recommend reading before use. Please see below for a quick guide to getting started:

1. Someone qualified should undertake a pre-use check on all equipment and a rescue plan should be in place in case of emergency 
2. First make sure you are wearing a work positioning belt 
3. Secure the connector of the lanyard to the belt according to belt instructions 
4. This creates a restraining system to give the user free use of their hands

How Long and Thick is the Lanyard?

The Lanyard is 1.5m long and 12mm thick.

This model has a fixed length but we also sell an Adjustable Version that extends between 1.2m and 2m. Please note connectors are sold separately for the adjustable model. 

How Big are the Openings for the Carabiner and the Scaffold Hook?

Both connectors have wide openings that should fit the appropriate equipment:

• Carabiner: 16mm

What is the Maximum Load Weight?
