What Is the Fall Arrest MEWP Kit For?
MEWP stands for mobile elevated work platform, which is piece of machinery used to lift people up for work at heights. This kit includes a work positioning lanyard and harness, which are designed to limit the distance from an anchor point that you can move, in order to prevent you from falling. When you use the Fall@rrest Kit and an appropriate anchor point, it will allow you to safety work on a MEWP.
What Is Work Positioning?
Work Positioning is a fall protection system whereby someone is prevented from moving past a certain point while working at height, so that they can carry out a job near a high edge, without the worry of falling off. Anyone who works at this height MUST have adequate training. Work positioning is often used in conjunction with a fall arrest system in situations including:

Sit Strap and Back Support for Comfort
Working at height can be tough on the body, especially on long days. The Fall Arrest CORE Harness features back support and an in-built seat strap to help reduce fatigue.
Attached Scaffold Hook and Snap Hook
Included with the lanyard are two attached hooks, a double-action scaffold hook and a double-action snap hook. The snap hook secures to your harness, while the scaffold hook secures you to a structure when working at height.
Adjustable Webbing for Freedom of Movement
The webbing of the Work Positioning Lanyard is easily adjustable for freer movement when working at height, while still maintaining stringent safety standards.
Fall Indicator for Maximum Safety
This Lanyard has a fall indication patch sewn in, which frays when exposed to significant force. This makes it clear when the lanyard is no longer effective and must be switched out.
