JSP K2 Fall Arrest Shock Absorbing Lanyard

In the case of an accident the JSP K2 Fall Arrest Shock Absorbing Lanyard will successfully arrest the wearer's fall, dramatically reducing their chances of injury. The high-tenacity polyester rope can be adjusted to two lengths depending on the task at hand.

What Can the Shock Absorbing Lanyard Do for Me?

The lanyard has several useful features, some of which follow here:

• Shock Absorbing: Polyester tubular elasticated webbing is certified as absorbing shock
• Fall Arrest: High-tenacity polyester can withstand free fall test without causing undue damage
• Adjustable: Choice of relaxed length of 1.4 metres and an expanded length of 2 metres

The lanyard has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. The lanyard has achieved the following certifications:

• EN 355: 2002
• EN 354: 2010
• EN 362: 2004

What Do These Certifications Mean?

• EN 355: This standard specifies whether a lanyard absorbs shock, reducing the force applied to the user by gradually arresting the fall
• EN 354: Indicates that the lanyard has withstood a free fall test without releasing the load or doing undue damage
• EN 362: Indicates that the connector used is suitable for preventing falls from height

The lanyard is certified as absorbing shock, and the connecters qualify as suitable for preventing falls from a height. The breaking strength of the lanyard is 25kN.
