JSP Pioneer 2-Point Rescue Harness

The JSP Pioneer 2-Point Rescue Harness can function as an ordinary fall arrest or fall restraint harness, but thanks to the extension strap it can also be used for vertical rescues in confined areas such as manholes. The sub-pelvic strap and adjustable shoulder, chest and leg straps all ensure the wearer will be securely held in place by the harness.

What Can the 2-Point Rescue Harness Do for Me?

The harness has several useful features. These include:

• Fall Arrest: Dorsal attachment D-ring and front D-ring for fall arrest
• Rescue: Overhead D-ring for rescue with convenient extension strap for vertical rescues
• Secure: Adjustable shoulders, chest and leg straps as well as sub-pelvic strap for secure and upright fit
• Functional: Plastic retainers to keep straps tidy, fall indicator for simple inspection, two colours for easy donning

What Certifications Has the 2-Point Harness Received?

The harness has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. The harness has achieved the following certifications:

• EN 361: 2002
• EN 1497: 2007

What Do These Certifications Mean?

• EN 361: This standard specifies whether a harness holds the wearer in place and evenly distributes their weight
• EN 1497: This standard indicates that a harness is fitted with a rescue connection D-ring, allowing casualties to be lifted vertically through small spaces

The harness qualifies as suitable for both fall arrest and for vertical rescues in small spaces. The harness will hold wearers up to 140kg and evenly distribute their weight.
