The primary aim of a fall restraint kit is to restrict the range of the wearer so they are not able to get close enough to a height risk to fall. Both the harness and the lanyard of the JSP Pioneer IPAF Restraint Kit are fully certified as suitable for fall restraint purposes, and can be adjusted to accommodate both the wearer and the setting.

What Do These Certifications Mean?
- EN 358: This standard indicates a belt or lanyard will safely arrest the fall of a wearer following a drop
- EN 361: This standard specifies whether a harness holds the wearer in place and evenly distributes their weight
The lanyard is certified as arresting the fall of a wearer following a drop, and can be used to restrain the wearer from accessing height-risks. The break strength of the lanyard is 30kN. The harness will hold any wearer of 140kg or below in place, evenly distributing their weight.
