What Can the Pioneer Roofer Kit Do for Me?
The kit has several helpful features, including the following:
- Fall Arrest: The harness will evenly distribute your weight in the case of a fall and the guided fall type arrester will absorb the resulting shock
- Work Positioning: Fall arrester can be used for work positioning, both horizontally over a distance of 10 metres, or as part of a vertical lifeline system for vertical positioning

What Do These Certifications Mean?
- EN 361: This standard specifies whether a harness holds the wearer in place and evenly distributes their weight
- EN 353-2: This standard demonstrates that the travelling device of the system will grip the line and arrest the fall in case of an accident
- EN 362: Indicates that the connector used is suitable for preventing falls from a height
- EN 354: This standard specifies that a lanyard is a suitable for connecting a harness to an anchorage device, and that it is intended for use as a component of a larger system that ought to contain a shock absorbing element
- EN 795: This standard indicates that an anchor device is suitable for use as an element personal fall protection equipment
The harness is rated as holding wearer's up to 140kg in place and evenly distributing their weight. The lanyard attachment, connectors and webbing anchorage sling are all certified as suitable components of a fall arrest system, and the sling is certified for use connecting a harness and an anchorage device. The travelling device of the arrester will grip the line in the case of a fall.
