JSP Spartan Twin Tail Lanyard

The JSP Spartan Twin Tail Lanyard can be used in aerial tasks where freedom of movement both horizontally and vertically is required. The shock absorber ensures that fall arrest is optimised, and the stitching is high-tenacity polyester for maximum durability and security.

What's Included?

  • 1 x Twin tail fall arrest lanyard
  • 1 x Screw gate connector in alloy steel, conforms to EN 362 (Class B and M)
  • 1 x Alloy steel scaffold hook, conforms to EN 362 (Class T)

What Can the Twin Tail Lanyard Do for Me?

The lanyard has several useful features. These include:

  • Twin Tails: The twin tails of the lanyard make it suitable for environments and tasks where both vertical and horizontal manoeuvring is required
  • Shock Absorbing: Energy absorber at one end of the webbing to reduce injuries
  • Fall Arrest: Both the alloy steel scaffold hooks and the alloy steel screw gate connectors are certified as suitable components of a fall arrest kit
  • High-Quality: Alloy steel, polyester webbing and high-tenacity polyester stitching for maximum efficiency and durability

Who Can Use the JSP Lanyard?

The lanyard is ideal for any task which requires aerial freedom of movement in both a vertical and a horizontal direction. In the case of a fall, the lanyard can be relied upon to dramatically reduce risk of injury. Some of the professions and careers for which the lanyard is suitable follow here:

  • Construction

What Certifications Has the Twin Tail Lanyard Received?

The lanyard has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. The lanyard has achieved the following certifications:

  • EN 355: 2002
  • EN 362: 2004

What Do These Certifications Mean?

  • EN 355: This standard specifies whether a lanyard absorbs shock, reducing the force applied to the user by gradually arresting the fall
  • EN 362: Indicates that the connector used is suitable for preventing falls from a height

The alloy steel connector and scaffold hooks are both certified as suitable for use in a fall kit, and the lanyard will reliably absorb any shock resulting from a fall. The breaking strength of the lanyard is 25kN.
