JSP K2 Twin Tail Lanyard

The shock absorbing webbing of the JSP K2 Twin Tail Lanyard is 44mm wide for maximum strength and durability. Twin tail lanyards are ideal for performing aerial tasks where both horizontal and vertical aerial movement is required.

What's Included?

  • 1 x Twin tail lanyard
  • 1 x Quarter turn aluminium connector, conforms to EN 362 (Class B)
  • 2 x Aluminium scaffold hook, conforms to EN 362 (Class A/T)

What Can the Twin Tail Lanyard Do for Me?

The lanyard has several useful features, some of which follow here:

  • Freedom of Movement: Twin tail lanyards are useful in climbing applications where freedom of vertical and horizontal movement at a height is required
  • Shock Absorbing: Wide tubular polyester webbing is certified as absorbing shocks
  • Fall Arrest: Both the lanyard and connectors qualify as suitable for fall arrest kits
  • Adjustable: Adjustable between lengths of 1.4 and 2 metres

Who Can Use the JSP Lanyard?

The twin tails of the lanyard makes it ideal for work positioning in aerial scenarios where both vertical and horizontal motion are required. What Certifications Has the Twin Tail Lanyard Received?

The lanyard has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. The lanyard has achieved the following certifications:

  • EN 355: 2002
  • EN 354: 2010
  • EN 362: 2004

What Do These Certifications Mean?

  • EN 355: This standard specifies whether a lanyard absorbs shock, reducing the force applied to the user by gradually arresting the fall
  • EN 354: Indicates that the lanyard has withstood a free fall test without releasing the load or doing undue damage
  • EN 362: Indicates that the connector used is suitable for preventing falls from height

The lanyard is certified as reducing shock during a fall without causing undue damage to the wearer. The connecter qualifies as suitable for height safety kits. The break strength of the lanyard is 25kN.
