How Does It Work?

If the chainsaw comes into contact with chainsaw protected clothing, then it rips out bundles of long and tough fibres which wrap themselves around the saw, clogging it and bringing it to a standstill. This clever design could be potentially life or limb saving in the event of an accident involving a chainsaw where normal clothing will not stand a chance against the fast-moving blades.

Jackets that are certified to EN 11393 Type B have extended protection that goes beyond what Type A jackets offer.
