Portwest MV73 Navy Chemical Protection and Flame-Retardant Jacket

A highly protective work safety jacket, the Portwest MV73 Navy Chemical Protection and Flame-Retardant Jacket performs as impressively as it looks. Tested and certified to various EN standards the Portwest MV73 protects against heat, flames, electrostatic discharge, and chemical splashes. Wearers of this jacket can also benefit from the its wind-resistant and water-resistant fabric whilst working in cold, damp, and windy weather.

For Hazardous Work Environments

As well as offering a smart contemporary design, the main benefit to the Portwest MV73 Jacket is in the protection it provides in hazardous work environments. The jacket offers inherent protection against electrostatic discharge, radiant, convective and contact heat, as well as shielding the wearer from welding related hazards such as splashes of metal. The jacket is also tested and certified to provide protection against splashes of chemical products.

Modaflame Fabric

The jacket is constructed from Portwest's inherently flame-resistant Modaflame fabric. Portwest's industry leading flame resistant range is a result of years of experiences combined with advanced technology and market research, so you can have total peace of mind on safety in the workplace.

Made with Carbon Fibres

Interwoven with 1% carbon fibres, the Portwest MV73 Jacket has excellent tear and tensile strength, and anti-static properties. Carbon fibres generally have excellent tensile properties, low densities, high thermal and chemical stabilities, good thermal and electrical conductivities, and excellent creep resistance.

Excellent Outdoor Work Jacket

The Portwest MV73 Jacket is not only an excellent safety jacket but also makes a great outdoor work jacket thank to its wind-resistant and water-resistant fabric. A storm flap on the Portwest MV73 jacket protects against elements, and its interactive zip allows this softshell to be zipped into an outer jacket for additional insulation if required.

Who Can Use the Portwest MV73 Fire Resistant Jacket?

This Portwest jacket is designed for wear in environments where there is a risk of chemical splashes, flames, heat and welding related hazards such as metal splashes.
