As well as offering a smart contemporary style, the main benefits to the Portwest FR704 Jacket is in the protection it provides in hazardous work environments. The jacket offers inherent protection against electrostatic discharge, radiant, convective and contact heat, as well as shielding the wearer from welding related hazards such as splashes of metal. The jacket is also tested and certified to provide protection against splashes of chemical products.

Made with Carbon Fibres

Interwoven with 1% carbon fibres, the Portwest FR704 Jacket has excellent tear and tensile strength, and anti-static properties. Carbon fibres generally have excellent tensile properties, low densities, high thermal and chemical stabilities, good thermal and electrical conductivities, and excellent creep resistance.

Innovative Design

Ensuring a cool and comfortable garment, the innovative design of Portwest FR704 consists of metal free components, back ventilation for breathability, adjustable cuffs, embroidered FR (Flame Retardant logos), and multiple pockets for ample storage.
